We are happy to introduce you to the DinoX Lottery / Raffle system, which will be going live on our Portal on August 17th at 4pm UTC. You will be able to find it under the category “Lottery” in the main menu.
The DinoX Lottery is a weighted chance raffle event, where randomness and fairness is provided by ChainLink VRF. Each user is able to put in as many Lottery tickets as they have available on their DinoX Wallets.
The lottery will be open for 72 hours and closes on August 20th at 4pm UTC. We will then do a live draw to announce the winners. These winners will then be shown on the DinoX Portal and, at the same time, the list of winners and their positions in the draw will be marked in the blockchain for verification.
Selection of the winners will happen inside the contract of the lottery system by the mechanism called “weighted chances”, meaning chances of winning are split evenly through all the tickets included in the lottery contract. Therefore, users with more tickets entered will have a slight advantage for the chance of winning. Although, every ticket entered has a chance to be a winning lottery ticket.
Once the winners are selected, all the tickets that participated in that lottery are then burned.
Moving forward, the lottery will open every Friday at 4pm UTC for 72 hours and the draw will occur every Monday, at 4pm UTC.

What are DinoX Lottery Tickets
The DinoX Lottery tickets are the first available DNXI items. As stated in our whitepaper and explained through the articles, DNXI are erc1155 standard, meaning that tokens of a certain ID can be of multiple amounts. And our DNXI tokens are available on Polygon network to lower the need of users paying high gas fees.
In the future, when there will be a smart development on bridging erc721 and erc1155, there’s a chance you will be able to use these tokens cross-chain. For now, they will only be available on Polygon.
Lottery tickets serve only this one specific purpose: they are to be used in the lottery system. Although, as all tokens, they are transferable and tradable. You can find the existing list of DNXI (only lottery tickets of the time of publishing this article) on this OpenSea link:

How to get Lottery Tickets
After every 168 hours (7 days) have passed from the EXACT time that you staked your DNXC, you will be able to select “Claim Tickets” on https://portal.dinox.io/ The Lottery Tickets are then automatically sent to your Wallet on the Polygon Network.
How to participate in the lottery
Open portal.dinox.io then go to the “Lottery’’ tab and you will see the interface for the lottery. One thing to note is that you are required to have your wallets on certain networks when interacting with our Portal. For the Lottery, as it’s DNXI, you need to have your network switched to Polygon. After making sure you are on the right network, you will be able to see how many tickets you have available and the interface for putting your tickets into the lottery. On this same page, you will be able to verify and check the Lottery winners after the drawing is finished.
Step 1: Go to https://portal.dinox.io/ and connect your wallet
Step 2: Select “Lotteries” from the main menu
Step 3: Make sure your wallet is connected to Polygon network
Step 4: Select amount of tickets you would like to put in the lottery
Step 5: Press ENTRY button
Step 6: Wait for the draw and announcements of the winners

Go to https://opensea.io/
→ Connect your ETH wallet (even if you used BSC/matic to stake DNXC )
→ Select “My Profile”
